PEC26-072 cut 804 m @ 0.34% Cu, 0.08 g/t Au and 1.19 g/t Ag from 24 m, including 485.2 m @ 0.40% Cu and 100.8 m @ 0.56% Cu from 608.5 m — the third broad South Breccia intercept, collared 166 m west of PEC25-066. On grade it is textbook Andean porphyry-Cu: 0.3–0.4% bulk tonnage with a better-grade core at 575–725 m, i.e. an open-pit starter from surface that improves downward rather than a near-surface enrichment blanket. GT of 273 %·m rates Exceptional and the 0.90× GT/MCap clears the 0.25 floor on a C$304M cap; AuEq·m of 438 ranks #4 of 140 copper intercepts in the 30-day archive, behind Irruptive's 795 m @ 0.66% CuEq and two American Eagle holes at NAK. These are drilled widths — true thickness has not been determined, and the 0.007% Mo is excluded from AuEq. Peru is low-moderate risk. Watch the balance of the 35,000 m program: PEC26-067 also returned 42.3 m @ 1.01% Cu from 33.7 m at the Northwest zone, and the Northwest/North-Central holes are the first tests outside the historical pit outline.

GT/MCap Spotlight — Top 5

Au and Cu metrics are on different price bases — not directly comparable across metals.

Silver Bow's 4.0 m @ 994 g/t AgEq at Butte prints 14.9× on a C$267M cap, but that is an Ag-unit polymetallic bonanza (10% Zn, 5.8% Pb, priced at US$25 Ag) and is not comparable to the Au/Cu names. The best clean ratio is Auriginal's 6.36× — 125.3 m @ 0.67 g/t Au on a C$13M microcap, a shell-sized denominator that should be read as such — followed by Athena at 3.16× (C$12.7M, one RC hole drilled by an optionee). Among names with real liquidity, Vior 1.22× (narrow 1.5 m @ 37.1 g/t), Independence 1.16× (9.23 m @ 5.12 g/t) and Pecoy 0.90× are the ratios that matter.

Lahontan Gold (LG · TSX-V · C$165M) — Santa Fe Mine, Nevada. Best intercept: 10.7m of 1.81 g/t Au + 64.8 g/t Ag (2.56 g/t AuEq). Sonic drilling of a historic heap-leach stockpile, not in-situ rock — outside the framework.

Stakeholder Gold (SRC · TSX-V · C$45M) — Loki, Yukon. Best intercept: 3m of 0.165% Cu, 266 ppm Ni, 127 ppm Co; 2m of 316 ppb Pt+Pd. ppm-level — Cu GT 0.5 %·m is far below Good and PGE has no GT threshold in the current framework.

Mogotes Metals (MOG · TSX-V · C$288M) — Filo Sur, Argentina ~. The only drill-related release on JMN today (Sept 4). Best new intercept: 18m of 0.21% Cu (FS_DDH_013) at Luz del Sol — 3.8 %·m, below the near-miss band; the issuer itself calls the grades uneconomic. 20,000 m planned for 2026–27 with Rio Tinto funding.

Geiger Energy (BEEP · TSX-V · C$17.6M) — Fox Zone, Thelon Basin, Nunavut. FOX26-001: ~50m of elevated radioactivity in two zones (173–230m), "largely exceeding 100 cps, locally >500 cps" on a handheld scintillometer on core. Below the Radiometric Watch bar (no off-scale reading, no peak ≥10,000 cps). Assay timing not stated.
